Lihua Titanium at CFME2026 in Shanghai
From October 21 to 23, 2026, the 13th China (Shanghai) International Fluid Machinery Exhibition, CFME2026, took place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
Pumps, valves, fans, compressors, vacuum equipment, gas separation systems, drying equipment, and separation machinery brought professionals together in Shanghai. Lihua Titanium attended to meet customers and learn more about how titanium flanges are used in real equipment projects.

What Stands Behind a Reliable Fluid System?
Once equipment enters a project, several questions matter:
- What medium will be transported?
- What pressure and temperature will the system experience?
- How serious is the corrosion risk?
- Can the pipeline, valve, pump, and equipment interfaces connect accurately?
- Can the required components be delivered according to the drawing and schedule?
A flange is responsible for connection, sealing, disassembly, and maintenance. In seawater, chloride-containing, and chemical-service environments, a suitable material can influence maintenance planning and equipment operation.
That is why a titanium flange should be understood as part of the fluid system-not simply as a metal ring with bolt holes.

Start with the Application, Not the Word "Titanium"
Titanium and titanium alloys are considered in marine engineering, chemical processing, chlor-alkali production, salt production, metallurgy, energy, and water treatment because of their useful corrosion resistance and engineering adaptability.
But "titanium" is not a complete selection answer. Before requesting a quotation, clarify:
- Medium: composition, concentration, impurities, and chloride content
- Pressure and temperature: design pressure, working temperature, flow velocity, and start-up frequency
- Connection: paired materials, insulation measures, and possible galvanic corrosion
- Structure: standard, sealing face, bolt-hole layout, and wall thickness
- Documents: material verification, dimensional inspection, visual inspection, PMI, UT, or other required checks
A supplier who asks about these points before quoting is helping prevent a mismatch between the flange and the actual equipment environment.

Three Practical Takeaways from CFME2026
1. A drawing is important, but the working condition behind it matters too
Two flanges can look similar while facing different media, temperatures, pressures, or connection conditions. Sharing the application background improves technical communication.
2. The lowest initial price may not be the lowest project cost
Material mismatch can lead to corrosion, leakage, downtime, replacement, and maintenance. Stability and maintainability deserve attention alongside the quotation price.
3. A complete delivery includes information
Customers may need clear material and grade information, dimensions and tolerances, sealing-face status, inspection records, and project documents for installation, acceptance, maintenance, and repeat purchasing.
Before You Ask for a Titanium Flange Quote
Consider these questions:
- What equipment will the flange connect to?
- What medium will pass through the system?
- What pressure and temperature should be considered?
- Which standard, sealing face, and inspection documents are required?
- What quantity is required now, and may there be repeat orders later?
The more complete the information, the easier it is to move from a general product inquiry to a workable project discussion.
